OUR History
It began with a seed. In this case, an idea was planted in Lansdale Borough by a group of neighborhood residents, council members and business owners. The market was originally established by volunteers in 2008, and in the first Market season in 2009 it was located on Railroad Plaza near Main and Madison Streets. Since then, the idea grew into a strong group of volunteers dedicated to the success of what had grown to be a federally recognized non-profit incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
OUR Mission
Our mission is to maintain a seasonal farmers’ market that supports local producers of healthy, nourishing foods and quality, crafted goods. We desire to build community while providing educational programs that promote local, sustainable living.
OUR Values
Farmer Friendly. Community. Honesty. Friendliness. Organic. Authentic. Fun. Local. Education.

The Jean and Russell Bailey Memorial Fund - "Harvest" Level Sponsor
The Baileys were humble long time Lansdale residents. Mrs. Bailey was a first generation native born citizen, descended from a long and proud line of farmers who called Poland and Ukraine their home. Mr. Bailey's family, with a considerably longer history in the U. S., while not as completely grounded in the land, also farmed and fished to support themselves. Conservation of the planet was near and dear to their hearts for their entire lives and they eagerly participated in what they liked to call "save the planet" activities, no matter how small. They would be happy to know that part of this sponsorship is dedicated to vendor conservation initiatives at the Market.
